One of the console’s 64 input channels can be routed to 27 phase coherent mix buses, which include 16 user-configurable bus (as mix subgroups or mix minus group) and eight matrix buses.

The matrix buses can be connected to inputs and groups, allowing them to function as an additional eight auxiliary (monitor mixer and FX sends), for a total 24 mixes (plus L. R. & Mono) for monitoring mixing.

The mixer has 56 input channels. It also has 8 aux returns. All of these au returns feature Midas 4-band parametric EQ, insert points, and all have the option to be used as an additional mixer.

These 8 aux returns are used to return the PRO2’s internal FX processors or as additional mic channels if there is enough mic inputs on the I/O hardware.

The Midas PRO2 Touring Package Version of the Live Audio Mixing Systems is intended for live sound reinforcement, such as in concert venues and houses of worship, broadcast, or other public places.

Midas Pro2 Digital Mixing Board can be used with any Midas digital I/O unit. It can be connected to the Midas DL251 Stage Box (sold separately), which has 48 Midas microphone/line inputs and 16 analog XLR outs on stage.

Midas Pro2 Digital Mixing Board also features 8 mic/line inputs as well as 16 XLR analogue inputs at the back of console. The hardware configuration includes two AES3 inputs and three AES3 outputs.
